Двумерные сплавы Януса для спинтроники на примере Fe2I3Br3

Аннотация
Двумерные (2D) монослои Януса с зеркальной асимметрией обладают исключительными физическими свойствами. Это означает, что их можно применять в оптоэлектронных, электронных и электромеханических устройствах нового поколения. Проведено первопринципное исследование электронных и магнитных свойств 2D-монослоя Януса Fe2I3Br3 в рамках теории функционала плотности. Создана кристаллографическая модель сплава Януса Fe2I3Br3, рассчитана его равновесная структура и определены электронные, магнитные и механические свойства. Показано, что 2D-монослои Януса Fe2I3Br3 динамически и термодинамически стабильны, о чем свидетельствуют результаты расчетов фононных спектров и энергий образования, а также демонстрируют полупроводниковую природу. Зонная структура Fe2I3Br3 имеет спин-поляризованное антиферромагнитное упорядочение шириной запрещенной зоны около 1 эВ. Температура Нееля составила 75 K. В материалах такого типа можно реализовать состояния, которые трудно или практически невозможно получить в объемных магнитных образцах. Полученные результаты могут внести вклад в развитие науки о двумерных функциональных материалах, которые найдут применение в различных областях наноиндустрии
