A.I. Orlov (b. 1949) graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1971. D.Sc. (Econ.), D. Sc. (Eng.), Ph. D. (Phys.-Math.), professor of "Production Economy and Organization" department of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, scientific chief of Laboratory of Economical-Mathematical Methods in Controlling, full member of International Academy for Study of the Future and of the Russian Academy of Statistical Methods. Author of more than 600 publications including 40 books in the field of organizational-economical simulation, applied statistics, economical-mathematical methods, theory of decision making, economics and management in national economy.
