Yu.M. Temis (b. 1947) graduated from the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School in 1971. D. Sc. (Eng), professor of "Applied Mathematics" department of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University and chief of mathematical simulation department of the Central Institute for Aviation Motor Engineering (TsIAM) n. a. P.I. Baranov. Author of over 100 publications in the field of machine strength and dynamics, numerical methods of solving nonlinear problems of elasticity, plasticity and creepage.
