G.L. Lukankin (b. 1937) graduated from the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute n.a.N.K. Krupskaya in 1959. Ph. D. (Phys.-Math.), D. Sc. (Pedagogy), professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education, head of the mathematical analysis department of the Moscow State Open University. Author of more than 300 publications in the field of analysis of complex-valued variables and methodology of teaching mathematics, including textbooks for secondary and higher schools.
