N.P. Bochkov (b. 1931) graduated from the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute n.a. N.I. Pirogov in 1955. D. Sc. (Med.), professor, academician of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, head of laboratory of mutagenesis of Medical and Genetic Scientific Center of RAMS, winner of the USSR and RF State Prizes in Science and Technology, winner of the RF Government Prize. Author of more than 500 publications in the field of human genetics and medical genetics.
