The study shows that gallstone dissolution in benzene forms a colloidal system based on exchange interactions, in which several competing processes may proceed: homolytic dissociation of diamagnetic molecules; recombination of radicals; formation of associates. The flow of such processes is due to the fact that benzene has a π-orbital, in which electrons are separated in space system, which may result in exchange interaction between the radical electron and any electron π-bond, i. e. the process of associate formation. If a gallstone--benzene solvent of a different nature --- hexane is added in the resulting system, the dispersed phase is rejected
