Computation of Main Kinetic Parameters of Polymer Relaxation

Polymers with various rigidity of macromolecular chain: poly-4-methylpentene-1, polyoxadiazole and polyacrylonitrile are studied with a thermal analysis. Temperature ranges for each polymer vitrification are found (from 90 to 350°C). Kinetic parameters of the vitrification process are computed and the link between the activation energy of the polymer vitrification and its structure is established.
