Abstract
The article discusses the features and patterns of solvation of various inorganic electrolytes by individual and mixed two- and three-component water-organic solvents. The individual solvents used are formamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, dimethyl formamide, acetonitrile, and water, while the mixed solvents include combinations of water--dimethyl sulfoxide, water--formamide, water--dimethyl formamide, formamide--dimethyl sulfoxide, and water--dimethyl sulfoxide--formamide. The analysis is based on modern concepts of various types of ion-molecular and intermolecular interactions observed in solutions. The main focus is on the solvation of chloride, iodide, and sulfate anions by various combinations of two- and three-component solvents. The results obtained explain the increase in the solubility of salts with a common cation in aprotic solvents, which is observed in the fluoride--chloride--bromide--iodide series, as well as the low solubility of sulfates in these solvents. It is assumed that other symmetrical, low-polarizable ions of the type EO42- have weak solvation in these solvents. Weak solvation is also possible for all ions with a low-polarizable electron shell
