Basic principles, stages and conditions are considered at which the maximal biosorption of heavy metals by yeast occurs. The conducted study has touched upon a stage of finding the threshold yeast concentrations in liquid medium with introducing salts of metals Zn, Ni and Cu in it. A stage of study of yeast biosorption properties in sewage with the increased content of heavy metals is also presented. Basic regularities of biosorption depending on the medium conditions are revealed.
