Study of Class of Continuous and Discrete Strings with Constancy of Offset Function

A theory is developed of building the linear density function of string with a property to conserve the main mode of oscillations of its any fixed-length segment. A case is considered when the string is replaced with a set of point masses arranged on the weightless flexible line and an example of the discrete mass distribution in string is given.
