Results of simulation of the flow in the Rotor 37 axial transonic compressor of NASA with the help of the k - ε-model of turbulence are given, and the calculated distributions of the degree of growth of the total pressure and total temperature are compared with experimental data. In order to increase the simulation accuracy, the damping of the turbulent viscosity depending on the ratio of the turbulent energy generation to its dissipation rate is proposed.
