A method to find limits is offered for a number of reliability characteristics of the sequential system consisting of n elements and operating in the two-step alternating mode. For the Weibull law it is shown that limits for a coefficient describing a degree of the service life exhaustion within the framework of the Peshes-Stepanova model are the same both for an element and a sequential system. Besides, it is found that with the model of linear summing of damages for a sequential system is implemented asymptotically.
