System for Isolation of Hypodermic Blood- Vessel Pattern from Thermographic Images

A system for automatic isolation of the hypodermic blood-vessel pattern from thermographic images as well as an algorithm for automatic discrimination of open parts of a human body on the thermogram and an algorithm for obtaining the blood-vessel pattern are developed. Theresults of the system operation using the thermographic images of the patients with the 2nd degree varix dilatation are given. The developed approach has been applied to the problem of isolation of the blood-vessel pattern of the human face with the help of the database (containing 371 thermographic portraits of 25 persons of different sexes, ages and figures at different time of the day), and the obtained results are presented.
