A synthesis of theoretical and experimental study of dynamics of a fluid flow in a pipe with a limited artificial gas cavity is presented. This cavity appears in the stream as a result of gas injection behind a cavitator and limited in its axial development by a local throttle washer-type hydroresistance at the exit of the pipeline.
