Results are given of calculations and theoretical and experimental determination of flow field parameters for liquid (contained in the robust endless pipe), being penetrated by the high-speed metallic cumulative jet. The calculation results have been obtained by means of the numerical process simulation in the context of the one-dimensional axis-symmetrical non-stationary problem of the thin piston expansion in ideal incompressible liquid; experimental results - with the help of optical and electric registration methods.
