Redefinition of Ampere - Main Unity of SI

Some negative moments are analyzed which arise in redefinition of "ampere" on the basis of the fundamental constant - elementary charge e. An alternative option is considered - to use as the fourth main unity of SI instead of ampere the unity of the electrical charge "coulomb" that has the dimension dim Q = Q and is derived from the Coulomb law with the use of the elementary charge.
