The portable FTIR-spectrometer with a resolution of 8 cm-1 in the range of 7...13 μm is described in which the non-cooled single-element pyroelectric photodetector of MG-32 type is used. Results of the laboratory and field tests of the developed mockup specimen are presented. It is shown that the FTIR-spectrometer with non-cooled photodetector may be applied for remote detection of vapors of pollutants in the open atmosphere.
