Electromagnetic Wave in the Inhomogeneous Isotropic Transparent Medium

An exact solution is derived to the problem on propagation of temporally-harmonic electromagnetic oscillations in the isotropic spatially-inhomogeneous transparent medium whose parameters are stationary and change arbitrarily along the specified direction.
