In this paper we consider the electromagnetic radiation in the vicinity of rotating astrophysical sources. This work assumes the model of atmosphere as an effective gravitational field. Based on this model we calculated the deflection angle of the light beam, determined the angle of rotation of the plane of polarization and Doppler frequency shift. This article offers the uniform approach to the propagation of light in a gravitational field and moving media.
