The problem of synthesis of the asymptotically stable tracking system with the identification model is solved. The model structure and law of regulation of its parameters ensure the required asymptotic form, and free parameters of the tracking system allow one to provide the quality of dynamical characteristics of the synthesized identifier. The identification of constant parameters of the controlled object is treated as the problem of determination of the law for setting the model parameters based on the concept of Lyapunov's direct method. By example of the tracking identifier synthesis with the simplest dynamical object, the structure of the parameter setting device is revealed, and practical recommendations on the general methodology of the tracking system synthesis are developed. The scheme of identifying parachute's aerodynamic coefficients is offered.
