The practically most acceptable methods of taking into consideration the non-linear properties of switched reluctance machines in imitation models of switched reluctance motors are discussed. Variants of their implementation in MATLAB-SIMULINK environment are proposed. Based on the juxtaposition of results of the phase current computation, recommendations are given on selection of the most expedient method of the motor model creation depending on the problem being solved.
